Uralkali is expanding its presence on the African continent. So far, the company has signed seven agreements to conduct field tests in countries across Africa. The main goal is to inform the continent’s major consumers with data on the effectiveness of potash fertilizer use.

Uralkali is currently collaborating with the countries located in the East of Africa: Zambia, Zimbabwe and Kenya. Local crops are already being grown with the use of our fertilizers! This year, the company has signed a contract with Nigeria and is planning field experiments in Madagascar, Tanzania, Mozambique, Uganda and Ghana. Uralkali does not simply sell fertilizers to its consumers, but provides them with a wide range of additional services. For example, Urallkali helps to calculate the optimal fertilizer application schemes for specific regions.

The application of potash fertilizers helps improve soil quality and ultimately significantly increase crop yield.
