UFCL took part in the 7th International Exhibition of Floriculture and Horticulture Hortiflora Expo 2019, which was held in Addis Ababa.

This year, the event brought together a record number of participants: approximately 120 producers of plant products and mineral fertilizers, large international consumers from Europe and the Middle East, farmers, etc.

UFCL presented a range of dedicated water-soluble products: Uralchem's Solar product line (potassium nitrate, concentrated calcium nitrate, MAP, NPK Micro and AquaDrop) and Uralkali's DripKALI.

Mineral fertilizers presented sparked the interest of both producers of floral products and distributors of agri-inputs.

Hortiflora Expo has been held since 2005, every two years, under the auspices of the Ethiopian Horticulture Producers & Exporters Association; the main task of the exhibition is the development and promotion of national horticulture activities. This is one of the largest international exhibitions on the topic. Ethiopia is among the world’s five major flower producers and aims to increase the amount of exported flower products by expanding both production and the number of farmers engaged in horticulture.
